Mapping People
With Nisha Nair-Gupta
Map the lanes of Byculla through the stories of the people who live there Join us with urban researcher and writer Nisha Nair for an immersive workshop on narrative mapping, uncovering the intricacies of studying communities through their stories. Through engaging activities, participants will gain insights into ethnographic research methodologies and ethical considerations. By talking to people and documenting their stories, the workshop will urge the participants to critically reflecting on one's own frameworks and biases.
Inspired by the ongoing exhibition 'People of Bengal: Coloured Etchings by F. Baltazard Solvyns', presented in collaboration with DAG.
