mapping “ologies”: integrating body and mind in research
About this Event
The series is designed to engage students/trainees in developing and integrating foundational understandings of "ologies" (ontology, axiology, epistemology, methodology) toward informing (1) personal commitments; (2) research design choices, and (3) critical appraisal of qualitative health research.
In this session, we will use body mapping to facilitate our abilities to feel into what’s important to us.
Inspired by journal clubs, registrants will be sent an article to read in advance of gathering. At the workshop, they will receive a workbook that will guide activities.
This session is part 1 of 2. While Part 2 will built on Part1, registrants are not required to register for both. Both are arts-based, with Part 2 using found poetry.
Sessions are hosted fully in-person at BC Women's Hospital campus. Please see your registration confirmation email for further location details.
