Maple Syrup Making Workshop

We (and maybe you too?) are collecting maple sap right now, and pretty soon we'll be ready to turn it into maple syrup!

For this workshop, we'll talk briefly about the tapping process, and then walk through the steps of turning the sap into syrup! We will explain the sap concentrating process (through reverse osmosis), the boiling (with use of an evaporator), and the finishing process. Then we'll put some pancakes on the griddle and try out the syrup!

The workshop will be mostly outdoors, so please dress according, including a coat, gloves, hat, and boots/shoes to muck around in. Rain or shine!
