Ahhh, March: the sweetest month of the year! As a perfect cabin fever reliever, March will include buckets of opportunities for you to get outside to learn about the maple sugaring process at the historic Remick farmstead.Explore how to make maple syrup, from start to finish. Enjoy a walk around the Remick farmstead as we identify suitable maple trees for tapping, learn about the science of maple sap production, practice proper use of maple sugaring tools, and see how sap is turned into syrup at our sugarhouse. (Note: We cannot guarantee a sap boil on any particular day.)

Suitable for all ages; ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Preregistration at the front desk is required 15 minutes before the start of the tour; spots are limited.
Dress for the weather and ground conditions of the day.
