MAP BR é Música, Arte & Poesia Brasileira no coração de Copenhague!
No dia 23 de agosto, às 18 horas, inauguramos no Bobuska um espaço de experimentações artísticas com foco na palavra falada e cantada — uma celebração da língua portuguesa e das nossas brasilidades, com vogais abertas e sonoridades cheias de ginga.
A cada mês, um(a) poeta e um(a) compositor(a) brasileiro(a) ganham as nossas vozes e reverberam na cena, ao lado de poemas e músicas autorais de artistas brasileiros(as) residentes na Dinamarca, sob a condução do músico Arthus Fochi e da poeta Beatriz Provasi — com entrada gratuita.
Hilda Hilst e Sérgio Sampaio são os homenageados desta 1ª edição — dois criadores à margem, intensos e inclassificáveis. Hilda, com sua escrita visceral e metafísica, e Sampaio, com sua música irreverente e lírica, compartilham o impulso de transgredir formas e abrir fendas na sensibilidade. Ambos fizeram da linguagem um campo de invenção — ela, na poesia que provoca convenções e desafia o tempo; ele, nas canções que atravessam gêneros com melancolia e rebeldia. Vozes que incomodam, encantam e permanecem.
Entre as vozes que reverberarão suas obras estão Arthus Fochi, Beatriz Provasi, Natalia Francis, Claret Christensen, Dina Beatriz dos Santos, AK Barbosa, Lesley Leichtweis Bernardi e Thiago Lessa — que também ecoarão sua própria inventividade em trabalhos autorais.
Ao final, o microfone aberto espera revelar novas vozes entre o público presente, e a Roda de Choro de Copenhague encerrará a noite com chave de ouro.

MAP BR is Music, Art & Poetry from Brazil in the heart of Copenhagen!
On August 23rd at 6 PM, we inaugurate at Bobuska a space for artistic experimentation focused on the spoken and sung word — a celebration of the Portuguese language and the richness of Brazilian expression, with our open vowels and swinging sounds.
Each month, one Brazilian poet and one songwriter will be honored through our voices and echoed into the scene, alongside original poems and songs by Brazilian artists living in Denmark, led by musician Arthus Fochi and poet Beatriz Provasi — with free admission.
Hilda Hilst and Sérgio Sampaio are the honorees of this first edition — two outsiders, intense and unclassifiable. Hilda, with her visceral and metaphysical writing, and Sampaio, with his irreverent and lyrical music, share a drive to break forms and open cracks in our sensibilities. Both turned language into a field of invention — she, in poetry that challenges conventions and defies time; he, in songs that cross genres with melancholy and rebellion. Voices that disturb, enchant, and endure.
Among the voices that will bring their work to life are Arthus Fochi, Beatriz Provasi, Natalia Francis, Claret Christensen, Dina Beatriz dos Santos, AK Barbosa, Lesley Leichtweis Bernardi, and Thiago Lessa — who will also share their own creative works.
To close the night, an open mic will be waiting to reveal new voices from the audience, and Copenhagen's Roda de Choro will wrap up the evening on a high note.
