A one-night celebration at Fort Point Valencia to honor our favorite fall tradition: the release of our Manzanita Smoked Altbier.

Join us as we kick off Manzanita season with a night we hope becomes an annual tradition. The cask taps at 5:30pm. Be there for the toast and first pour.

Brewed with charred local manzanita branches, Manzanita is a beautiful dark beer that’s light-bodied and somehow nutty, herbal, sweet and savory all at once. Decisively autumnal without relying on the clichés of the season, it’s our very Northern California take on the classic smoked beers of Northern Bavaria and a Fort Point cult favorite.
Cask-conditioned Manzanita: Gravity-poured from a cask on the bar, the way they still serve it in Bamberg, the world’s smoked beer capital. Get it before the cask runs dry.

Smoked beer flights: Manzanita (cask & draft) alongside selections from Bamberg’s historic Schlenkerla and Freigeist, the experimental brewery that we collabed with on the very first Manzanita batch.

Manzanita steins: Rastal ceramic half liters, custom printed with the Manzanita icon. Fill one at the bar and take it home. Limited run, while supplies last.
