Many Deaths Audition

Madeleine Gregor, previously Artistic Director of Coriolis Dance, is independently producing a new evening length work titled The Many Deaths of Puppy Love at BASE Seattle. Currently casting 2-3 performers who will be available for rehearsals from February until June of 2025 with performances on June 27th and 28th. Minimum paid performance stipends of $150 will be provided to each performer.

The Many Deaths of Puppy Love will explore the tumultuous journey of meeting someone new and exciting, building strong feelings for them, and how anxiety and overthinking can create many sensations of death due to assumed unrequited romantic feelings. I anticipate this work feeling like a melodramatic comedy for the audience, with tender moments of genuine affection alongside greatly hyperbolic declarations of love and betrayal.

Rehearsals will alternate between Wednesday mornings 9:30-11:30 and evenings 6:30-8:30 each week with one Saturday evening 6:00-8:00 rehearsal every three weeks.

As a freelance artist I understand life creates conflicts and try to build a schedule and dance around conflicts provided. If only Wednesday mornings or evenings work for you please don't hesitate to reach out with your interest the ability to attend most but maybe not all Saturday evening rehearsals is anticipated.
