Manuscript to Picture Book - Engaging an Illustrator

Throughout Story+Art=Picture Books exhibition at GMBB level 3A, I'll be conducting a workshop cater to anyone with manuscripts on how to work with an illustrator to produce a picture book. You can be an aspiring writer or parents with your child's manuscript. The focus is to translate your story into art and have it complement each other. Amongst the topic I'll cover in 1 hour:

1. Arranging manuscript into book pages
2. Sketches and storyboard
3. Character sketches
4. Discussion on Cover Design

Things to prepare:

I'll be conducting the workshop with an Ipad and this is a 1-1 workshop.

1. Two copies of printed manuscripts. I'll be scribbling on your paper but will not be keeping your manuscripts.
2. Stationaries. There will be stationaries that you can use, but feel free to bring your own.
