Join the Des Moines Art Center and CultureALL’s Open Book program for an evening of personal narratives and community conversation inspired by the exhibition “Manuel Álvarez Bravo: Collaborations.”“CultureALL’s Open Book”— trained storytellers from diverse backgrounds — will share personal stories reflecting on identity, heritage, and the power of building community. As we move through the galleries, Álvarez Bravo’s photographs offer a setting rich with history, collaboration, and creative exchange, inviting us to consider the many ways our lives intersect.
