Manual Thinking workshop - Workshops Design for Human Future

For some months now, Barcelona has been facing a situation of unprecedented water shortage compared to other cities in Europe. Climate change, mainly due to decreasing rainfall, is a global macro-trend that will most likely have an impact on other cities, especially in Southern Europe, in the coming years. Barcelona has the opportunity to be an example of how to manage a climate crisis and turn it into an opportunity to innovate and generate new ways of using water resources through design, technology and, above all, citizen participation.

The workshop will focus on the open question ‘What if…Water’, exploring and developing proposals that, through an applicable design, contribute to the saving and preservation of water resources in our model of cities.
