If you're looking for a fun and festive way to celebrate the end of summer, look no further than the 51st Mantua Potato Festival, happening on September 6-8, 2024!You'll love our scenic Buchert Memorial Park by the "Crooked River", where we have tons of activities for the whole family! You can watch or join the Fireman's Bucket Brigade, a thrilling competition where teams race to fill a barrel with water using buckets. You can also participate in the Potato Stomp Race, a 9-mile run that ends with a potato pancake breakfast. And don't forget to check out the live music shows and the parade on Sunday at 1:00pm, featuring local bands, floats, and performers.
And of course, you'll get to taste our delicious potato dishes, made by our local community members. Whether you crave pierogies, potato pancakes, or fresh cut French fries, we have it all! And if you're feeling adventurous, you can enter our potato peeling contest, potato sack race, or potato eating contest.
