Bursting with energy and a fresh musical perspective, Manta is renowned for his astute writing and stylistic visuals.
Manta has written and produced his upcoming project with Scott Verrill (Good Neighbours), with his music and encapsulating DIY content already receiving widespread interest through his ever-growing fanbase. So far Manta has received a variety of industry recognition, including press tastemakers ‘Dork’ dubbing his last record “undeniably brilliant”. Further accolades include airplays via
BBC Radio 1’s Future Pop, BBC Radio 6 with Tom Robinson, editorial support via Spotify’s Peach playlist, and a ‘Sub Culture’ profile feature with Fred Perry. Manta has been prolific on the live-front, previously supporting Rejjie Snow, as well as
featuring at various standout festivals such as The Great Escape, Neighbourhood Festival and Manchester’s BBC Introducing showcase.
Coming off the back of a sold out debut headline in Manchester, Manta is set to play his
biggest shows to date at the infamous 500-cap Gorilla (Manchester) and The Grace
(London).
His brand new EP ‘the be all and end all of nothing’ is set to come out on 18th September.
