The PUMPKIN SMASH EVENT takes place November 1, 1:00 to 3:00 at Sibley Park (Riverside by the sliding hill), Mankato. Bring your old pumpkin and jack-o-lanterns to be turned into compost instead of sending them to the landfill. Please bring only natural pumpkins with no wax, glitter, candles, glow sticks or lights.
You can come in your Halloween costume if you wish. We will have a target, a lift for smashing pumpkins and a plank to roll your pumpkin down Sibley hill.
This event is sponsored by the City of Mankato community grant and Mankato Area Zero Waste.
