We at Stark Yoga are honored and happy to welcome Manju to Stockholm, Sweden once again in 2022 to learn from his deep knowledge in an intensive, inspiring and humorous way.
Manju Jois is dedicated to his mission of training people in the ancient style of yoga, which combine the asanas, pranayamas, and peace chants for a mind - body - spirit unification.
These trainings will present the Ashtanga Yoga series and traditions in their purest form, providing a rare and privileged opportunity for beginners and experienced practitioners alike to learn from the eldest son of Sri K. Patthabi Jois.
This 2 day weekend workshop will consist of one class with Led Primary Series and one with a Mysore style class. After asana practice there will be Pranayama and chanting of vedic peace chants.
There will be time for questions and answers, stories and to share experiences.
If you have questions concerning the practice, philosophy and history of Ashtanga Yoga, feel free to use this rare opportunity to ask Manju, custodian of a priceless knowledge that can’t be lost!
The workshop is open for everyone with a fully established Ashtanga Yoga practice, that wish to deepen the knowledge for either teaching or for personal growth. We will explore the series in an accessible and playful way.

Cancelled workshops and refunds:
We are following the situation of the pandemic and government recommendations. In regards to sudden changes in the restrictions we might need to do changes in the schedule. Safety comes first.
A purchased place for the workshop will be refunded only in case of a cancelled workshop. The workshop will be cancelled if Manju can't get to Sweden or if government recommendations will rule against it. Stark Yoga is not responsible for any lost travel, hotel or other expenses incurred in connection with a changed / cancelled workshop.

About Manju Jois
Manju Jois, Ashtanga Yoga teacher of Mysore, South India, is the oldest son of Sri K Pattabhi Jois, recognized worldwide as the foremost authority on Ashtanga Yoga. Manju was born in November, 1944. At the young age of 7, Manju was awakened early each day by his father to begin lessons that would forever change the course of his life and the lives of those who would study with him in the years to come.
He began his teaching career at the age of 15 with his father and has taught ever since.
Since the passing of his father in 2009, Manju´s role in the Ashtanga Yoga world has been more and more important to keep the practice inclusive and to keep the more subtle aspects of the tradition alive. He has taught continuously throughout the world for the last 50 years in a deep and compassionate way and with a sense of humor.

Assisting teachers: Camilla Silver & Johan Silver
Camilla has been teaching Ashtanga Yoga for the last 20 years and guides her students with warmth and focus, with an intention to highlight the strength you already possess. Camilla is Authorized by Manju Jois. She owns two Yoga Studios in Sweden and deeply rooted in the Vedic traditions she is also a Vedic Counselor, specialized in mantra and meditation.
Johan has been teaching Ashtanga Yoga for over 10 years and is Authorized by Manju Jois. With his background as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, he has a deep understanding of our various constitutions, Vata, Pitta and Kapha and how to deal with them differently on the yoga mat to find their balance and get closer to their inner true nature.
