Greenvale Manitou is Cedric Briand's most personable project, and Manitou Studios is the staple LLC name for everything he enterprise in the music industry. An eclectic taste and a love to fuse popular genres with World music is his favorite recipe. Niches are about borders, frontiers... In response, Briand resists mentalities of isolation and enclosure by flirting with many genres, performing as a multi-instrumentalist using live samples and loops, and fueling his curious soul with experimentation, partnerships and occasional transcendence.
Several news outlets have described Cedric’s solo act as a diverse blend of styles that weave together a blend of acoustic, electronic music, percussion, hiphop and even opera. His music draws from global traditions, including African, Celtic and Nordic influences, for a grounded and spiritual experience.
Loop Th3ory is Cedric Briand's 3-piece looper project. They perform covers as well as some originals from Cedric Briand.
This a trio of misfits known only as Murder Curious. Under the influence of grunge, metal, heavy blues and old school punk, Murder Curious has created an original sound that is not for the faint of heart.
