The Manitou Chamber Music Festival opens its 2026 season with an evening of chamber music performed by our acclaimed faculty artists. The program features Malipiero's Rispetti e Strambotti, Ives's Intermezzo from "The Celestial Country," and the beloved Brahms Clarinet Quintet.
The Manitou Chamber Music Festival is a dual-faceted performance and education community held each July at the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association. Faculty artists mentor advanced 9th to 12th grade student musicians in small groups as they explore the world of chamber music, and students share the stage with faculty at the final concert. Now in its 13th season, the festival presents four concerts at Broadmoor Community Church.
