What is it like to shape our society collectively? What is it like to imagine, solidify and advocate for a new social, political and cultural world for us? Most of us can remember a time where we were asked to imagine that utopic future full of technological advances and streamlined development through Wawasan 2020 art class. Where are we now and how have our neighbours imagined and brought about new social and political ways of being? This reading of selected publicly disseminated manifestos from the region invites you to explore the worlds they have created and place them in dialogue with one another. This reading group will be moderated by Yvonne Tan
