Manhattan | DuCon invites all trade partners interested in submitting bids for the Bradenton Area Convention Center Expansion & Renovation Project to a Career Fair on Thursday, May 24, 2024.

We are excited to have this project up and going, as you are aware, the Manhattan|DuCon team is the CM on this project. One of our goals while building this project is to ensure local trade partners and laborer workforce are able to procure and work on this project that is right in their neighborhood, with these goals in mind, DuCon will be leading the efforts to help manage and ensure we are successful with this goal along with tracking the details and reporting the efforts to our clients, the Manatee County Government. The tracking methods will be done through a morning check-in basis during our toolbox huddles. As far as the laborer workforce is concerned, in the first round of individuals, you will be able to speak with the individuals and determine if he or she would be a good fit for your company while on the project. We will be able to assist you with onboarding individuals from our trusted community partner, Manatee Technical College, which has a construction program that we will be directly receiving their graduating students. MTC has programs in the following areas: Electrical, HVAC, and General Construction units. We are expecting the students to be considered as candidates for your consideration on this project to meet our goal.
