Mangrove Boogie Kings + King Biscuit Time + 40 Miles of Bad Road

In 1979 after a few wild years rocking Sydney’s guts out, the Mangrove Boogie Kings staged the historic first of what were to be many last ever farewell shows. And then they really did quit.
Years rolled on. There were comings and goings. Then a decade into this century, Warren ‘Bossman’ Nunn and K-Rex Kelaher rebooted the Boogs, signing up troupers Mark Cornwall, Peter Doyle and Richard Ruhle. That lead in time to yet another series of absolutely last ever swansong gigs.
But alas, this time the end really is nigh. Bossman Nunn has cranked up his 1953 Customline, packed it with green and is, as we speak, cruising south from his Kurtzian redoubt east of the East Alligator River, NT, for a truly last, fair dinkum, final final show at the GasPo.
In support will be King Biscuit Time Revue (downhomiest outfit in the country) and a special lagniappe of low-down twang and bodgey bossa from 40 Miles of Bad Road.
