Mandela Partners Family Meal

Mandela Partners is hosting a dinner to raise $20,000 for our Microgreens Community Fund, which supports those in our Culinary Employments Pathways program.

This 4 course family style meal includes alcoholic and N/A beverage options with the purchase of a ticket. Doors will open at 5:30 with dinner starting promptly at 6pm. This event is accessible by Bart as well as AC Transit and street parking will be available.

The Culinary Employments Pathways program is a paid culinary training program that connects residents facing barriers to employment with food jobs with a living wage, a supportive work environment, and personal growth opportunities.

In addition to receiving $21/hr during training and internships, program participants can access microgrants of up to $600 through the MicroGreens Community Fund. These grants can be used for essential needs such as car repairs, medical or legal bills, and housing.

Guests of the dinner will enjoy a delicious, family-style meal made with love by program participants utilizing the techniques learned in training. Every dollar from ticket sales and donations goes directly to supporting community members building new careers in the food sector!
