Mandala dot painting is a meditative art activity where you will be encouraged to slow down, take in the present moment, and focus on painting beautiful dots. The process is called 'dotting.' It is a repetitive process of dropping dots of paint onto a surface. Attendees will be taught the techniques on how to create mandala dot patterns with dotting tools and templates as well as freehand.
2 hours of a customized mandala dot painting workshop for kids and 3 hours for adults. The workshop will be taught using dotting tools, as well as with protractors/compasses, and techniques to create a symmetrical mandala freehand. Amy Diener will do demonstrations, and then provide guided facilitation and feedback during studio time. Each participant will create one mini mandala dot painting on canvas.
Dates: Saturday, Oct 1 & Sunday Oct 23 2022
Times: Kids session: 9:45-12pm | Adults session: 1:45-5pm
Location: Amy's art studio - meet at lobby of Waterford Diamond, Sukhumvit 30/1
Fee: Kids: 1,350 Baht | Adults: 1,900 Baht (includes materials and snacks)
