About this Event

This is always a fabulous event, an opportunity to network and build new business relationships and I am delighted these two inspirational ladies have agreed to speak this year

Sally Wallace

Sally Hudson presented the Drive time show on Manchester's Capital FM for several years and after giving birth to her son at the age of 40 realised she was considered a geriatric mum.

Sally was fired for being too old, infertile for "apparently" leaving it too late and labelled geriatric for having a baby at 40. Sally’s podcasts are that conversation you have with a friend over a good cup of tea (or a gin... depending on what day of the week it is.) Expect humour and fun from this presentation.

Helen O'Brien

Helen is an experienced specialist in Digestive Health and Complementary therapies including Sound Healing and she has an amazing insight and knowledge of how the gut is the key to both mental and physical health and well being. Helen presents in a fun and engaging way, not one to miss!

Charity

House of Books & Friends (There will be a charity raffle)

The idea for House of Books & Friends was born during the pandemic in 2021, when Gunnercooke founder and chair of The Gunnercooke foundation, Darryl Cooke, recognised the impact that lockdown was having on those around him and in wider society.

Coming out of the pandemic reports showed that 45% of people in the UK experience loneliness

Darryl wanted to create and bring something to society to help combat this somewhat silent problem that robs so many of joy and contentment. He could think of nothing better than the power of reading and everything associated to help connect people and combat loneliness and so House of Books & Friends was born.

There will also be a range of artisan stalls to add to interest

Early Bird

The cost is £37 to include a 2 course lunch.  There is an Early Bird special at £34.00 for bookings before 15th January. There are discounts for a full table of 8 and to book a full table please email [email protected]

There are sponsorship opportunities available at a cost of £70 to include one ticket, host a table, and banner and literature in the room . Please contact Tricia for more information.
