About this Event
The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity is hosting a free fun-filled event to celebrate our brain injury service in Manchester, on Wednesday 1st May, from 3pm to 7pm.
The afternoon will include bowling, table tennis, pool, food, and soft drinks for FREE. It's a great opportunity to bring the Manchester brain injury community together to share inspiring stories and hope for the future. The Charity prides itself in establishing a community of friendship and support. The venue is Lane 7, Unit 3, 235 Deansgate, Manchester M3 4EN, with easy transport links via train, tram, and car. The venue has disabled access and we hope you can all make it! Please only request tickets if you are 100% sure you can attend, so no one's space is wasted.

The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity offers opportunities for all those affected by brain injury (Silverliners) to get involved in exciting and purposeful activities in the community. Our service users include the brain injured as well as their family members and friends who are often overlooked despite the effects brain injury can have on loved ones. The Charity runs a five day a week programme of activities as part of its STAR Programme (Structured Therapeutic Activities for Rehabilitation Programme). We also have a seven day a week WhatsApp community which offers continuous support and enables Silverliners to share their positivity and understanding towards each other, building friendships along the way.
We run free and low-cost activities and events online and in the community encouraging our members to reconnect, grow and discover something new. All our activities are open to adults of all abilities; we believe that disability should never be a barrier to personal achievement. Our work engages brain injured people with the wider community, which invigorates, motivates and rehabilitates them to discover a sense of purpose, social structure and added meaning to their lives.
