Manchester Reunited: Public Design Workshop
About this Event
Help shape the future of State Route 65 in Manchester. The Manchester Reunited project (State Route 65 Reconnecting Communities Planning Study) is exploring ways to reconnect the Manchester neighborhood to the riverfront, improve safety, and create a corridor that works better for everyone: drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders alike. Beyond mobility, this project is also a catalyst for economic opportunity.
Join us for an evening design workshop at Manchester Citizens Corporation where you can:
✔ See and compare design alternatives for State Route 65
✔ Talk directly with the project team about what matters most to you
✔ Explore maps, renderings, and concept boards
✔ Share your feedback through our open house format
✔ Learn how the project connects to trail access, riverfront development, economic opportunity, and neighborhood safety
✔ Enjoy free food, entertainment, and community
This is an open house-style event; come anytime between 6 and 8 PM. Stop by stations to learn about each alternative, ask questions, and leave your input. Free food and entertainment will be provided throughout the evening. Activities for students and youth will also be available.
Can't make it in person? A community survey will also be open. Visit EngagePGH for more details.
