About this Event
Come and join us at the iconic Manchester Monastery, considered to be E. W. Pugin’s great architectural masterpiece and known as ‘Manchester’s Taj Mahal’. Meet the festival team, our volunteers and other festival goers to discover more about what's on over the festival weekend and how you can get involved.
Our Opening Night will be launched by historian & broadcaster Michael Wood and will feature fantastic performances from young people who have responded creatively to climate change, as well as music from Manchester International Roots Orchestra.
Light refreshments and drinks will be served on the night.
We can’t wait to see you there!

Thanks to our funders.
Enormous thanks go out to all our festival supporters, partners, and funders. Without their contributions, the festival would not take place. It is a FREE festival, with only a few paid for events. Making it as accessible to as many people as possible. It costs in the region of 100K to put on the festival and the following partners and funders have all contributed to make this festival happen. Thank you.
