Manchester Health Film Festival | Health Films That Heal & Inspire MHeFF26
About this Event
Immerse Yourself in Health Films That Heal and Inspire - MHeFF26
This November, Vue Cinema Printworks Manchester becomes a space for stories that matter. The Manchester Health Film Festival (MHeFF26) returns on 13-14 November for two unmissable days of powerful, honest, and moving cinema - shining a light on the health conditions and lived experiences that shape millions of lives, yet rarely make it to the big screen.
From the everyday realities of Diabetes and the life-altering impact of Stroke, to deeply personal journeys through Mental Health, Compulsive Hoarding Disorder, and the frustrating, often isolating experience of Misdiagnosis - this festival gives a voice to conditions that are too often misunderstood or overlooked.
We'll explore the invisible battles of Endometriosis, Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS), and Achalasia - conditions that can take years to diagnose and a lifetime to navigate. We'll confront the global impact of Malaria, spotlight the strength and resilience found within the Disability community, and sit with the courage of those living with Parkinson's Disease.
Each film is a window into a different world. Raw, human, and real.
Whether you're a healthcare professional, patient, carer, filmmaker, or simply someone who believes in the power of storytelling to change perspectives, MHeFF26 invites you to watch, listen, and feel.
Come for the films. Leave with a new understanding.
