About this Event
If you want to practice your surgical approaches and orthopaedic fixation on fresh cadavers, with expert teachers to guide you, or learn how to make decisions, then this is the course for you.
Foot and Ankle Trauma has evolved over the last decade with a better appreciation of the anatomy and function, and improved evaluation through imaging. This course will bring you up to date with current concepts in the assessment and management of foot and ankle trauma.
The faculty are all experienced foot and ankle surgeons, who have a passion for teaching. They will be able to guide you through the application of principles for decision making and appreciation of the surgical anatomy and relevant surgical techniques to give your patient the best possible outcomes.
There is a high faculty to delegate ratio, and the course is run in a state of the art cadaveric facility in the Manchester University Foundation Trust.
The revenue from the course is donated to the Orthocycle charity, which recycles medical devices for less economically advantaged countries.
Attendees will need to bring hospital identification for admission. No cameras or mobile phones are allowed in the cadaveric lab.
