Manchester 1 Rep Max Calisthenics Competition

On Saturday 12th November 2022, 0161 Community will be playing host to Bodystrong UK to give 20 athletes the chance to showcase their 1 rep max weighted calisthenics strength.

Four regional competitions will be taking place across the country from the 29th October - 17th December 2022 in a bid to find the strongest male and female calisthenics athletes to go forward to Bodystrong UK's national competition in 2023:

1. Energize Fitness, Edinburgh, Scotland - Saturday, 29th October

2. 0161 Community, Manchester, Northern England - Saturday, 12th November

3. Sequoia Movement, Cornwall, South West England - Sunday 27th November

4. Calisthenics Basingstoke, Basingstoke, South England - Saturday 17th December

Competition Details:

All athletes will be required to perform four weighted movements to their 1 rep max. Athletes will have 2 attempts only to showcase their highest number on the day.

Movements:

1. Strict Ring/Bar Muscle Up

2. Pull Up/Chin Up

3. Dip

4. Back Squat
