Turning Points and its partners will be hosting the Manatee County Stand Down on Nov 6th 2021. Stand Down focuses on helping homeless and potentially homeless veterans and their families but also helps non-veterans and their families receive critical needs services.
These services include:
Amnesty Court (only for Veterans)
Veterans Services
General and Mental Health Screenings (including flu shots)
Dental Screenings
Eye Exams
Resume Assistance
Lunch
Distribution of Hygiene Products
Clothing Distribution
Haircuts
Florida ID/Drivers License (only for Veterans)
Raffles
Maverick from 92.1 CTQ is the emcee.
Jessica Cary is singing the National Anthem.
