This event is planned because respondents to the Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH) Primary Care Training Needs Analysis (TNA) 2024/25 suggested the topic as a local training need.
This is event is for staff working in Primary Care in Nottingham & Nottinghamshire
Migraines are a common sight in general practice. Guidelines are frequently updated and it can be challenging to keep up with best practice and have confidence to treat patients in primary care.

This event is for consulting clinicians in Primary Care such as GPs, ANPs, ACPs.
For above job roles working across Bassetlaw, Mid-Notts, Nottingham City and South Notts.

Speaker<h4>Dr Jonathan Evans has been a Consultant Neurologist at the QMC since 2015, and head of Service for Neurology since May 2019. Originally from South Wales, Dr Evans did his medical training at the University of Cambridge and his specialist Neurology training rotating between London and Neurology Centres in East Anglia. His specialist interest is in Movement Disorders, in particular Parkinson’s disease. His PhD, also undertaken in Cambridge, investigated the natural history of Parkinson’s disease and markers of disease progression. He is involved in several clinical trials in Parkinson’s Disease, and also runs a weekly Botulinum Toxin injection clinic, as well as general Neurology clinics at the QMC and at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation (Trust Kings Mill Hospital), Mansfield.</h4>

- You will receive a certificate for your attendance. Please allow two weeks for this to be delivered to your inbox. We would advise checking your junk mail before contacting NATH for your certificate at [email protected]
If you cancel with more than 5 working days' notice, there will be no charge. If you cancel within 5 working days and we cannot fill the space, then you/your organisation will still be charged. If you do not attend then you/your organisation will be charged.
If you are leaving your organisation or you have a member of staff due to leave and you/they are booked onto a chargeable course with us, it is the organisations responsibility to inform NATH of this. This is to ensure that you/they are removed from any chargeable course with more than 5 working days before the event date and therefore will not incur any costs. If you/they are removed within 5 working days of the chargeable course then the cost of the place will be chargeable to the organisation.
