About this Event

This full-day, in-person professional development event is designed for job seekers navigating today’s extremely tight and competitive labour market. The goal of the day is simple: help you understand what’s really happening, reduce job-search stress, and regain the energy and confidence to keep going.

We’ll kick off the day with Christian Saint Cyr, one of British Columbia’s leading labour market experts, who will break down current labour market trends and explain why today’s job search feels so challenging — and why it’s not a personal failure.

Throughout the day, you’ll hear from professionals who successfully pushed through setbacks, learn practical strategies for managing uncertainty and motivation, and connect with others who are experiencing the same job-search limbo.

This is a supportive, honest space to:

  • Understand today’s labour market realities
  • Ask questions and vent frustrations
  • Learn tools to manage stress and stay motivated
  • Connect with professionals who “get it”

Breakfast, lunch, prizes, and meaningful conversations included.
