The 2000s are back in style, and what better way to celebrate then coming to the Man I Love Art event, Y2K edition!
Whether you’re a fan of Frutiger Aero, the anime aesthetics of shows like Soul Eater, or games like Kingdom Hearts and The World Ends With You, we all have an art style we love from the Y2K era! We want to celebrate the artistic freedom and expression of the era with art activities and a ton of awesome vendors!
If you’re a wiz with a pencil and want to win a little something something, join our Fan Art Contest! We’re accepting all fanart of our mascot, Maizy, but the closer to Y2K aesthetics, the better your chance to win!
- Submissions open from 12 PM to 4 PM during the event (must submit in-person).
- Contest will be held at 4:30 PM.
- Prizes
- Best Traditional (Physical) Art - $50 gift card
- Best Digital Art - $50 gift card
- Kids Winner - $25 gift card
- Best In Show - $75 gift card
We’ll also be having an Online Cosplay Contest for those more inclined to the felt dresses than the felt tips. Come in cosplay between 12 PM and 4 PM and we’ll choose our three finalists to be voted for on Instagram!
