NACA will be hosting another Mammogram and Cervical Screening Event on Monday, May 13, 2024! Mammograms and Cervical Exams, to screen for breast cancer and other types of cancer, will be available for established NACA patients at the NACA Family Health Center
1500 E. Cedar Ave., Suite 26
Flagstaff, AZ 86004
What exactly does a mammogram show?
Mammograms are X-ray images of your breasts designed to detect cancers and other changes in breast tissue. A screening mammogram is used to detect breast changes that could be cancerous in people who have no signs or symptoms.
What is cervical screening?
The cervical screening test procedure is similar to a Pap smear test. For both tests, a doctor or nurse takes a sample of cells from the cervix. However, the Pap smear test is used to look for abnormal cells in the cervix, while the cervical screening test looks for HPV infection.
If you are 40-64 years old, OR past due on your yearly screening, OR uninsured, you could be eligible for a free mammogram! For more information and to schedule your appointment, call us at (928) 773-1245
