Mammalian Cell Culture Intensive (2-Day Hands-On Laboratory Course)

During the course, you will cover:

Day 1 ( Sat 27th June: 09:30-16:00)

• Laboratory health & safety and sterile working practices
• Introduction to mammalian cell culture
• Aseptic technique in cell culture environments
• Using biosafety cabinets
• Preparing and maintaining cell culture media
• Cell passaging techniques

Day 2 ( Sun 28st June: 09:30-16:00)

• Monitoring cell growth and viability
• Cell counting techniques
• Cryopreservation and thawing of cells
• Maintaining healthy cell lines
• Understanding contamination and prevention
• Analysing and interpreting cell culture results
