Malone Park Commons Ribbon Cutting

Developers Andre and Curtis Jones, the Memphis Medical District Collaborative (MMDC), and the Downtown Memphis Commission (DMC) invite you to the ribbon cutting of Malone Park Commons. The event celebrates the completion of a gently dense neighborhood that transformed a vacant lot into one of Memphis and the nation's most diverse and equitable infill developments.

From its inception, the project drew strength from the partnership of its institutional supporters. MMDC provided catalytic funding and supported recruitment of businesses and residents. DMC contributed catalytic funding and tax abatement to advance opportunities for diverse housing and locally owned business ventures.

The event will feature remarks from those closest to the development and its impact, music, smoothies provided by Groovy Gratitude, flowers from The Mane Wildling, and class coupons from Evolve.
