Lördagen den 22 mars 2025 fyller Malmö Konsthall 50 år!
I ett halvt sekel har konsthallen visat samtidskonst i yttersta framkant och varit en mötesplats för stadens konst- och kulturliv. Detta vill vi fira med alla er som varit med och bidragit till att Malmö Konsthall blivit den plats den är i dag!
Födelsedagen kommer att firas med program klockan 11:00–17:00 med visningar tal och familjeverkstad samt en mingelfest med start klockan 19:00 med samtal och musik. Samma dag invigs presentationen ”Malmö Konsthall 50 år”, en visuell tidslinje som erbjuder en återblick på ett urval av de gånga årens utställningar samt en presentation av husets arkitektur. Presentationerna visas i en mindre del av utställningshallen och pågår parallellt med huvudutställningarna under hela året.

On Saturday, March 22, 2025, Malmö Konsthall turns 50. For half a century, the art hall has showcased cutting-edge contemporary art and served as a meeting place for the city’s art and cultural scene. We want to celebrate this with all of you who have contributed to making Malmö Konsthall the place it is today!
The anniversary will be celebrated with a program from 11:00 AM with talks, tours and workshops to 5:00 PM, followed by a mingling party starting at 7:00 PM with music. On the same day, the presentation “Malmö Konsthall 50 Years” will be inaugurated—a visual timeline offering a retrospective of a selection of past exhibitions, as well as an introduction to the building’s architecture. The presentations will be displayed in a smaller section of the exhibition hall and will run alongside the main exhibitions throughout the year.
