Cameron Nickerson draws inspiration from lived experience at his century-old camp in small-town Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Nominated by the Canadian Country Music Association for 2025’s Innovative Campaign of the Year, Nickerson’s relentless pursuit of truth in songwriting has positioned him as a rising voice in the Americana scene. His third solo album, The Wagon, has landed on SiriusXM’s “North Americana” (Ch. 359) and Spotify’s “North Country,” marking a new chapter as he leans into bluegrass with his band, The 340 South.
