Melly Davidson is a poet, educator, and multidisciplinary artist based in Tkaronto. Their work can be found in ROOM (forthcoming), Metatron Press, Arc Poetry, SIlverfish & more. Melly's writing explores the interplay between everyday mundanity & sacred revelation, revealing the inherent distortions between the two. Today Melly is moved by the karaoke version & profound synchronicities in YouTube comments.
Ellie Jung is a dancer from Korea, focused on improvisational movement. Ellie explores space, music, and visuals to let spontaneous sensations shape her movement, which led her to come to Toronto!
Madi Morelli is a queer artist based out of Toronto who is currently writing a book and singing in public. She is a graduate of Randolph College for the Performing Arts, right down the street from Mallo! Her recent work can be found in the Passionfruit Review, Commuter Lit, and Spell Jar Press's Honouring Our Ancestors Anthology. She can be reached @madimorelli on Instagram, and all her published works are available on her Chill Subs account of the same name.
Abby Hanson (she/her) is an emerging contemporary dance artist currently based in Tkaranto (Toronto, ON). She is a 2023 graduate of Dance Arts Institute (formerly The School of Toronto Dance Theatre) but her training began in amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton, AB) where she was born and raised. Over the past 10 years, she has trained, performed, and competed in multiple styles of dance such as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and more. Her years of training have fostered a love for performance and collaboration with other artists.
