Hello everyone!First ever Mallakhamb & Rope Mallakhamb 4 days free workshop in Sri Lanka !
Swami Vivekanand Cultural association, Embassy of Sri Lanka in association with Vishwa Mallakhamb Federation announces Mallakhamb workshop in the International Yoga month!
Date : 3rd to 6th June
Venue : SVCC, Colombo 7
Time : 2 hrs (morning & evening batches of 20-25max)
Timings : 7 am to 9 am
4pm to 6pm
Final Demo on 6th June (venue will be declared shortly)
Mallakhamb is an ancient Indian sport that beautifully combines strength, balance, flexibility, and yoga through artistic movements performed on a wooden pole or rope.
Rope Mallakhamb, in particular, showcases incredible control and grace as performers execute aerial poses and dynamic movements while suspended on a rope.
The coach is Padmashree awardee Mr Uday Deshpande, (72 yrs old) who has trained few thousand students for last 50yrs in many countries.
