Malifaux Slow Grow LeagueWhat is it?
A slow grow league is where our community comes together to enjoy the game, hobby and universe of Malifaux. The league focuses on playing the game in new and interesting ways where the achievements are designed for you to explore, test and grow as a community. The league is a great way for new players to get started and for existing players to play around with new crews and maybe try out some unusual strategies and schemes. The league is not intended for competitive play.
Entry: $30 per player.
Places can be booked over the phone or in person at Good Games Cannington. The entry covers your table hire for all games you play in store as part of the league. :)
Gaining Grounds 2 applies to this event for anything not otherwise included here.
The league will run for 6 weeks
Fortnight 1 start - Monday 31st of January - 35 Soulstone Crews
Fortnight 2 start - Monday 14th of February - 40 Soulstone Crews
Fortnight 3 start - Monday 28th of February - 50 Soulstone Crews
Players can play as many league games as they wish during the league.
ACHIEVEMENTS
ALL prizes are based on participation, players will receive raffle tickets for various achievements during the league. All players will receive $15 in store credit for participating and the remaining $15 will go toward a pool of raffle prizes for achievements during the event.
Games:
Players will receive 2 tickets for each unique opponent they play during the league.
Players receive 1 ticket for each unique scheme and each unique strategy that they score at least one point on - i.e. a cap of 17 tickets, 1 for each of the 13 schemes and 1 for each of the 4 strategies.
Players are free to choose which strategies and schemes they would like to play with their opponents or alternatively randomise them as usual.
Painting:
2 Tickets for painting 30 stones of miniatures during the league period, an additional 2 tickets is awarded for every 5 stones thereafter to a total maximum of 10 tickets.
Remember to take your before and after pics :)
Sportsmanship:
Each player will let the TO know privately at the end of the league their favourite opponent. The player/s with the most votes will receive 5 additional tickets.
Unlucky Player:
Each player will let the TO know privately at the end of the league who they felt was their unluckiest opponent. The player/s with the most votes will receive 5 additional tickets.
