Sold-Out Event for the last 4 consecutive years, Run Malibu presented by Rusnak BMW is excited to welcome runners and walkers from around the country to experience the iconic Malibu coastline. In addition to our in-person event, we are offering a virtual option of our signature distances and an exciting COMBO Challenge (Run 2 races. Get 3 Medals). The event hosts over 4,500 athletes as they compete and raise money to support our charity partners. The Boys & Girls Club of Malibu plays a critical role within the community by providing kids & teens with the opportunity to reach their full potential in a fun, creative, and safe environment.
Girls on the Run is an after-school program designed to inspire girls of all abilities to recognize and embrace their inner strength. Lessons emphasize the important connection between physical and emotional health.
Both the Half Marathon & 5K start and end at the famous Zuma Beach, one of the most distinctive landmarks on the Pacific Coast Highway, offering participants a beautiful out-and-back route along the pristine Malibu coastline. The 5K and the 1/2K Kids Run take place Saturday, November 5th, and the Half Marathon Sunday, November 6th.
The finish festival at Zuma Beach comes to life with cheering fans, exhibitors, and the musical stylings of our DJ. Many will end the day cooling off in the ocean or enjoying a cold drink in the Beer Garden.
The Half Marathon course is USATF-measured and participants will have 4+ hours to complete their race, i.e. 18 minutes-per-mile pace for the Half-Marathon.
