Ellington Jazz SeriesBassist, composer, vocalist, and citizen of Odanak First Nation (Abenaki) Mali Obomsawin, whose music JazzTimes has said “not only works as potent commentary on Indigenous heritage, autonomy and experiences, but as gripping, dynamic, and thunderous music in and of itself,” appears with her X-tet in a performance of her shoegaze-style work.
