Spend a peaceful morning learning the traditional technique of mala-making and how to incorporate mantra recitation into your meditation practice. A mala is a traditional Buddhist rosary, used to count prayers or mantras, and is cherished for its ability to help cultivate peace, wisdom, and compassion.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll:
- Learn how to use a mala for mantra recitation
- Discover traditional Buddhist mala-making techniques
- Select from semi-precious gemstone beads to create your own mala
- Leave with a completed mala and the knowledge to use it to benefit yourself and others
This workshop is suitable for everyone, whether you are brand new to meditation or an experienced practitioner. All materials are provided, including beads, thread, and tassels. Come create something meaningful that supports your practice.
