🎨✨ Malamiya Mang Arts Festival celebrates the deep connection between Dja Dja Wurrung Country and People, from the past, to the here and now. “Malamiya” means “long ago” and “Mang” means “now” in Dja Dja Wurrung language, representing the festival’s ongoing story of culture. This year, the festival will feature a special exhibition on Djandak Wi (Cultural Burns), aligning with the “Keep the Fire Burning” theme from National NAIDOC Week.
Running from 31 October to 2 November 2024, this three-day event will showcase the best of Djaara Art, Design, Fashion, Music, and Culture.
