Making Trash Bloom Plant Count (West Virginia)

Be a community scientist and learn more about our newest Making Trash Bloom project in West Virginia! Join our native meadow plant count team at the Berkeley County Landfill on Saturday, November 7 at 10 a.m. This location is just a short drive from Winchester, VA!
We’ll meet at the entrance to the landfill, and you’ll help us identify a baseline of what’s growing on the capped landfill. Spend time outside, meet like-minded folks, and collect valuable data that will help us spread Making Trash Bloom to additional landfills!
We will start with a brief training session - no prior experience necessary. Please dress for the outdoors; sturdy shoes, pants, and a sun hat.
