The Making the Grab: Them and Us training event will be a 2 day hands-on training event consisitng of a day of hands-on skill stations followed by a day of live fire scenario based training. Making the grab does not only mean rescuing civilians, but also at times means rescuing ourselves or other firefigthers. In this class we will cover skills for firefigther survival and self rescue as well as rescueing a down firefighter. We will then put these skills to the test during the day of scenario based training.
This class will have 2 registration options. The firefighter track and the command track. The firefighter track will consist of firefighter and company officer roles. The command track will consist of chief officer and command level roles. If you register for the command track, you will complete all of the skill station on day 1 of the class and on day 2 of the class you will perform command functions of each scenario based evolution.
