Creeping through the interstices of multiple genres, Making Strangers blends solid groove with sonic soundscape, and rock guitar with subtle tonal textures. With a lyrical style that is both dark and playful this band reaches out to those who hear music in the strangeness of everyday life and manage to dance to it.
Binghamton Afrobeat Arkestra:
An Arkestra is a group of musicians that come from different places and specialize in different styles, who board the Ark to embark upon a new musical journey together. This Arkestra has chosen to use the Afrobeat music of Fela Kuti as a common language, with which we have put together these original compositions for your rump shaking pleasure.
