Making Space: The Word, the Spirit, and Friendship

This Lent, you are invited to make space for the Word, the Spirit, and Friendship. Join a small group of East Coast Conference pastors for A Lenten Retreat for Pastors: . Please consider ​being part of this unique and sacred time of listening, renewal, and refreshment. Together in a small community, we will center on the text of Scriptures, the voice of the Spirit–and the companionship of mission friends.

We have been given the extraordinary opportunity to welcome Lindsay Ol​esberg to facilitate this time for us. Ol​esberg is a widely respected Bible expositor, world missions leader, and the current Chair of Wycliffe USA’s board of directors.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

WHAT: A Lenten Retreat for Pastors: Making Space for the Word, the Spirit, and Friendship

WHEN: March 24, 25, and 26; Arrive Monday at 11:45 a.m. Depart Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.

WHERE: Pilgrim Pines, W. Swanzey, NH.

​WHO: Making Space is strictly limited to no more than 15 East Coast Conference pastors, facilitated by Lindsay Olseberg and hosted by myself, Barbara Ettinger

COST: $250 per person. Includes six meals, lodging, expert facilitation, full instruction, materials, and manuscript Bible study supplies

SCHOLARSHIPS: If you are credentialed in the Covenant and in good standing and if you would appreciate having financial support to participate in Making Space, please apply for a Sustaining Pastoral Excellence Constancy grant. Apply today for a Constancy Grant and be reimbursed for costs incurred in participating in Making Space. The grant will cover your registration, lodging, materials, and instruction.
