Making Puppets for Kindergarten Puppet Plays

This is a follow-on to our recent Puppetry workshop, where we practised playing with puppets. Now we will work to create items for a puppet show.

In this workshop, we will :

• Create human figures and animals for the season we are in.
• Learn skills to help you to practise in your own time and create your own set of puppets.
• Work on the gifts of the different temperaments in our puppets and work on a story line.
• Learn the difference between our puppets and the ones we offer children for their play.
• Discover how to bring life into the creations
• Have time for any questions and wish you bring to the group…

Please bring your own lunch, and also bring tools and materials, including:

sewing kit, wool fleece, wool felt, fabrics, pipe cleaners, scissors for card & scissors for cloth, needles, threads, cardboard.
