Join us for a FREE workshop exploring The Making Peace with Herpes Method – A Holistic Program of healing the trauma and restoring balance
About this Event

If you are continuously struggling to control your herpes outbreaks, what’s holding you back is that you have internalized the societal stigma that having herpes means that you are somehow dirty, unworthy and unlovable.

Are you:

  • Staying single because you are afraid to date for fear of being rejected because of your diagnosis.
  • Afraid of passionately pursuing your full sexual expression because you are afraid of infecting your partner.
  • Fearful of natural childbirth because you don’t want to infect your newborn child.

It’s not your fault. There is a false (sex-negative) cultural narrative that has demonized this simple viral skin infection to make people believe they are lepers. There are also way too many fake gimmicks and snake oil peddlers hyping herpes cures that don’t actually work and may also be dangerous. The mainstream approach to dealing with herpes is pro-pharma and does not take lifestyle or diet into consideration at all. Not to mention the puritanical philosophy that still pervades our collective subconscious when it comes to empowered sexuality.

We believe it's time to take back your power, your body and your self-esteem. We believe it's time to learn to live outbreak free and love your empowered sex life. Not another day should go by where you're unable to stop the outbreaks and move beyond the stigma.

If you are interested in understanding how to live outbreak free, then this workshop series is more important than any other training, system or tool you’ll ever come across .

Outwardly, it might appear that you have it all together, but if you have not addressed how the cultural stigma triggers your nervous system into a fight/flight or freeze pattern, none of that matters. We want to show you how to develop the most loving and respectful relationship you can have with yourself. We want you to reclaim your sensual and sexual self and have an amazing and intimate sex life.

Chronic herpes outbreaks are the result of unresolved internalized stress. And the answer is holistically addressing your herpes physically, emotionally, sexually, socially and spiritually and that is the key to an empowered, outbreak-free life. Because when you are able to truly accept all parts of yourself and lovingly take deep care of yourself, your immune system can do its job and keep the virus dormant.

The workshop will consist of three one-hour sessions over the course of three consecutive days, including,

  • How to transform the anxiety and stigma of having herpes.
  • How to have safer sex and also a safe natural pregnancy with herpes.
  • How to stop having outbreaks using herbs, supplements, dietary changes, exercise and self-care.

You are not alone. Six out of every ten people have herpes. We invite you to move past guilt, shame and anger towards peace and healing.

The workshop will help you feel empowered, balanced, and hopeful through having a greater sense of control over your herpes.

Christina Cunningham, BA, LMBP, CHC

As a trauma-sensitive bodyworker and self-care coach, I have spent the better part of my 20+ year career studying the intersection of emotional distress and the vitality of the body, mind and spirit. As a human being, I was compelled to begin my healing journey when I had my first episode of major burnout at the tender age of 18 years old. I was utterly exhausted, had intense brain fog, and had lost my enthusiasm for life. What I didn’t know was that my life-force energy was being held captive by unresolved self-loathing and unrelenting self-judgment. And then at 30, I was diagnosed with genital herpes and the floodgates of unworthiness, feelings of being unlovable and being “damaged goods” brought me to my knees.

However, I was determined to not allow this to be my destiny, and so I began my journey of empowerment into natural and holistic healing. And that is when I found Christopher Scipio. Through his support, and with his book Making Peace with Herpes as my guide, I navigated the realities of living with a lifelong skin infection that can be triggered by stress. I have also studied the human experience from a variety of perspectives, such as therapeutic Massage Therapy, Bioenergetics, Shen Sensitivity training, Nutrition, Fermentation & Gut Rebuilding, Health Coaching, Trauma Sensitive Bodywork, BodyMind method, Ayurveda’s daily rhythms & much more.

Christopher Scipio RH AHG

My Name is Christopher Scipio and I am the most experienced practitioner in North America in the holistic treatment of herpes. For over two decades, I’ve been pioneering the natural treatment of herpes. My book “Making Peace with Herpes” was first published in 2006 (now in its fourth update), is the definitive guide to treating herpes naturally.

When I learned how to take control of my herpes and embrace holistic health, I felt empowered, hopeful, and unashamed. Now I feel like getting herpes was actually a positive turn in my life- motivating me to take better care of my health and to practice safer sex. It also gave me a vocation that I love. I love speaking to people and giving them the encouragement, support, and advice they need to control their herpes.

When I was first infected with herpes, I had no one to talk to about it. I got terrible advice and misinformation from the internet that damaged me and wasted my money. Often, having the right advice and an effective and empowering system to follow can make all the difference in the world. I am very passionate about helping others with herpes. Since first opening my clinic in 2003; I have coached thousands of people on stopping outbreaks, rejecting the stigma, having a happy, safer sex life and having a safe, natural pregnancy and natural childbirth.
